Jarvis

Sex: Male
Age: Born Summer 2022
Size: small crossbreed
Neuter: Nov 2022
Vacs: 11/11/22
Reason for arrival: He was one of 4 rabbits caught at Notts Uni park, they'd been dumped there. Jasper, Jasmine & Juniper are his siblings. They were all caught by members of the public then handed in to another local rescue who transferred them to us

Temperament with people: A bit sassy! He's confident enough to come forward for food eagerly but if you reach over to touch him he does a little grunt and hops away. He's fairly flighty when handling for vet trips/nail clipping so does best if he can walk himself into a carrier rather than picked up by hand, then handled with a towel to prevent him from trying to jump once being handled
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. He occasionally gets some cold pressed grain-free pellets during the winter months but now we're into spring he's pellet-free
Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
If you're interested in adopting him head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
