Reason for arrival: He was dumped at Notts Uni park, caught by members of the public then handed into another local rescue before being transferred to us
Temperament with people: Very friendly, loves being stroked. Approaches very willingly to see what food is on offer, happy to eat from hands. Easy to pick up for vets/nail clipping etc
Health: Has a coccidia history. He arrived symptomatic and tested positive, after medication was negative. Months later had a re-check even though no symptoms and was positive again, another round of medication and most recently tested neg
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. He occasionally gets some cold pressed grain-free pellets during the winter months but now we're into spring he's pellet-free
Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
