Mouse housing
The minimum sized housing we adopt mice out to is 80x50cm floor space but bigger is better!

Bedding/substrate
We mostly use Aubiose or Finacard for mice. Most pet shop woodshavings are unsafe but kiln dried ones are ok (eg Pure Flake Extra, Littlemax etc. Aspen and hemp are good too

All fluffy types of nesting material are unsafe, even if they're marketed as 'safe'. Use teabag type nesting material instead or non-scented loo roll ripped up
