Parsley

Sex: Male
Age: Born approx 2021
Size: medium lop
Neuter: pre rescue
Vacs: 11/01/2023
Reason for arrival: He was caught by another local rescue after being reported as a stray, they located his owners but they didn't want him so signed him over
Temperament with people: Approaches very willingly to see what food is on offer, happy to eat from hands. Backs away if attempting to stroke, pretty easy to pick up for vets/nail clipping etc
Health: He arrived with coccidia which cleared with medication and had a negative test afterwards
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. He occasionally gets some cold pressed grain-free pellets during the winter months but now we're into spring he's pellet-free
Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
If you're interested in adopting him head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
