Sex: Male
Age: Born spring 2024

Size: small nethie/lionhead cross

Neuter: 4/4/25

Vacs: 23/1/25

Reason for arrival: Came from a mis-sexing situation with various other rabbits. We took in 7, he came from the same place that Banoffee came from who was put to sleep due to lung consolidation and pneumonia from the previous living conditions. Pecan and the others from this case all had a month of antibiotics in case they were affected, before this Pecan had a neutering attempt but struggled under the anaesthetic, he got through it after the month of meds.

Temperament with people: Nervous if he knows you're going to touch him but has gotten confident at taking food by hand

Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. He occasionally had some cold pressed grain-free pellets during the colder days but not now we're into spring

Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could also live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner

If you're interested in adopting him head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
