Wren

wren.jpg

Sex: Female
Age: Born 20/1/24

Size: Medium Dutch crossbreed

Neuter: 12/4/24

Vacs: 19/3/24

Reason for arrival: Her mum was surrendered with a group of rabbits in Feb, Wren and her siblings were a few weeks old. Wren was adopted with her sister Starling after they healed from their spays but the change of territory caused them to fall out. Starling has a male partner now and Wren is looking for a partner.

Temperament with people: Confident in general but not keen on being touched, cooperates ok for nail trimming etc

Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. Occasionally has some cold pressed grain free pellets during the cold days but mostly pellet-free

Type of home needed: She currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. She's currently single so needs a rabbit partner

If you're interested in adopting her head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
