Sex: Artichoke - male, Ebony - female
Age: Artichoke - Born approx 2022, Ebony born Mid 2020
Size: Artichoke - medium-large crossbreed, Ebony - small/med lionhead crossbreed
Neuter: Artichoke - 21/2/23, Ebony - Late 2020
Vacs: Artichoke - 7/2/25, Ebony - 12/8/24
Reason for arrival: Artichoke - He was handed into a vets in Doncaster found by a member of the public so was either dumped or an unclaimed stray
Ebony - Dumped as a baby rabbit and taken in by Love Paws Rescue. Transferred to us as a partner for Artichoke in 2024.

Temperament with people: Artichoke - He's confident enough to approach for food but gets nervous about being touched, once you start stroking him he lays down. He's fairly calm being handled for grooming/vet trips. Ebony - more flighty than Artichoke.
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoy dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. Occasionally have some cold pressed grain free pellets during the winter but generally are pellet free
Type of home needed: They currently live outdoors but could also live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D
