Ginger

Sex: Male
Age: Born 2016
Size: Small, Dutch
Neuter: pre-rescue
Vacs: NobiPlus:25/11/25
Reason for arrival: Surrendered by previous home, arrived with a cataract in left eye. Eye pressure was high and lens luxated so is on eye drops for life, having a re-check of his pressure soon then will know his plan going forward
Temperament with people: Lovely, very affectionate, comes forward and holds still for his eye drop. Also drinks his metacam from a syringe. Really lovely boy who will be easy with ongoing care
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. Had some cold pressed grain free pellets on the coldest days
Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could also live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
If you're interested in adopting him head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
