Marble

Sex: Male
Age: Guess born 2023 but could be older
Size: Small, netherland dwarf cross lionhead
Neuter: 23/1/25
Vacs: 23/1/25
Reason for arrival: Came from a mis-sexing situation with various other rabbits. We took in 7, he came from the same place that Banoffee came from who was put to sleep due to lung consolidation and pneumonia from the previous living conditions. Marble and the others from this case all had a month of antibiotics in case they were affected. Like Banoffee, Marble had misaligned incisors so had them removed. Because of not having front teeth he can't always eat his cecotropes straight from his bum but does eat them off the floor sometimes.

Temperament with people: Fairly confident in general but not keen on stroking, easy to handle for grooming, nails etc
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. We usually don't recommend pellets for rabbits other than occasional cold pressed ones during winter but because of him not having front teeth and being able to eat as much foliage at normal rabbits we do give him daily pellets.
Type of home needed: He currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. He's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
If you're interested in adopting him head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
