Lapwing

Not ready for adoption yet
Sex: Female
Age: Born 2016
Size: Medium lop but arrived morbidly obese
Neuter: Done whilst in original home
Vacs: booked for booster
Reason for arrival: She lost her bonded partner and her owners weren't continuing the rabbit cycle so asked us to take her in for rehoming

Temperament with people: Fairly confident, she's only recently arrived so still getting to know her
Diet: A mix of Hay Box timothy and local meadow hay (not bagged pet shop hay), various wild plants such as plantain, wood avens, young brambles, dandelions, yarrow, apple leaves, strawberry leaves, geraniums, hazel leaves, willow etc. Also enjoys dried mixes of flowers/wild plants/herbs and fresh grass. Pellet-free due to being morbidly obese, we recommend pellet free for all buns anyway or to just have a few cold pressed grain free ones occasionally
Type of home needed: She currently lives outdoors but could live indoors. We highly recommend that indoor homes set up a UVB light for rabbits for vitamin D. She's currently single so needs a rabbit partner
If you're interested in adopting her head to the Care & Adoption page to read through the rabbit section, the online application is within the Adoption page
