Conditions of bonding

 

The above named rabbit is being adopted with the intention of bonding them with the adopter’s existing rabbit(s). The adopter understands that rabbits are a social species and cannot be housed alone long-term.

 

The adopter agrees to return the rabbit to the care of Burrowed Hearts if they do not form a successful bond with their own rabbit(s) within 6 weeks of the adoption date.

 

The adopter is aware that during bonding sometimes injury can occur. Burrowed Hearts will not be held responsible for any caused to the adopter’s own rabbit(s) during the bonding process.

 

The adopter agrees to provide regular updates including photos at least weekly to Burrowed Hearts about how the process is going and will contact Burrowed Hearts in the event of any difficulties.

Photo evidence of the rabbits living happily together in the full size set-up, as agreed by Burrowed Hearts, must be provided within 6 weeks of adoption unless otherwise agreed.
